Stephanie McCord

Stephanie began her yoga journey after being diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and facet disease. The years of personal practice led to exploration of various styles of yoga, and the development of a deep understanding of how yoga can create balance within oneself.

She completed her 200hr teacher training at Sacred Space, where she specialized in chair yoga. Looking for ways to help her students create a more accessible practice. Stephanie began training and getting certified in Accessible Yoga and becoming a Brain Longevity Specialist.

Understanding yoga classes can feel overwhelming. Stephanie started trauma-informed training with Porchlight Wellness. Upon graduation, Stephanie has offered classes from Addiction & Recovery to Yoga for Anxiety.

Donna Ramsey

Over 20 years ago, Donna embarked on her yoga journey, initially learning through books and videos in the solitude of her home. Her passion deepened when she started attending studio classes, uncovering more of the multifaceted nature of yoga. This newfound love prompted her to enroll in and complete a 200-hour yoga teacher training at Sacred Space in Statesboro. Since then, she has been sharing her love of yoga with others.

Donna is drawn to the union of body, mind, and spirit that yoga facilitates. Her teaching style is a blend of Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, which she finds profoundly rewarding. She considers it a privilege to guide others in yoga and witness the many benefits they gain from the practice.

Kim Critchley

Kim attended her first yoga class in a church basement in Cedar Rapids, Iowa 30+ years ago. Since then, Kim has practiced yoga with many different teachers and experienced several varying styles of yoga.

She and her husband David settled in Metter, Ga in 2009 where she once again began her search to find a yoga studio to attend regularly. Getting back into a regular practice led to the decision to attend a 200 hour teacher training in Tempe, AZ, so she could bring her love of yoga to Metter!
Kim began her training at Yahweh Yoga led by Courtney Chalfant and DeAnna Smothers, learning to teach from a Christian perspective. Returning to Metter with her RYT200, she opened Kindred Yoga & Wellness LLC in downtown Metter with the help of her sister and fellow yogi, Sandi Ferguson.
Continuing her education and practice of yoga, Kim received a RYT500 from Asheville Yoga Center. She also received training in Kids Yoga, Y12SR (yoga for recovery) and Trauma-informed Yoga during her AYC studies.
Kim strives to help others find comfort in their own bodies and become aware of the connection between body, mind and spirit. She loves to weave peacefulness, gratitude and compassion into her classes.

Kim started her Love of fitness as an Aerobics instructor at a gym in St Louis MO in the late 70’s. She has been involved in fitness and working out since. She was first introduced to Yoga many years later at a YMCA in Ft. Wayne IN. She instantly felt a connection. It wasn’t until years later that I found a studio in our new town of Metter GA. Kindred Yoga & Wellness offered exactly what I needed! Becoming a yoga teacher was always a dream of Kim’s. She tried to get into a YTT for a couple years and unfortunately due to Covid, I wasn’t able. Her local studio decided to offer YTT, and she couldn’t be happier, she jumped at the chance to sign up and fulfill a dream of taking the journey of becoming an instructor. What a wonderful journey was. After 8 months of hard work she received her RYT-200 teacher training certification along with five other hard working women. As she continues to grow in her practice she finds many styles that are interesting and inspiring that have helped her along this journey. It is her desire that everyone will consider Yoga as a way of connecting through mind, body and spirit.
