Jennifer Bland
Jennifer began her dance training at age 4 with Cheryl Brett Dance Studio, and has been dancing and entertaining ever since! She trained under several other studios and instructors throughout her dance career as well. After graduating Glennville High School, Jennifer attended East Georgia State College. She went on to hold several pageant titles and won numerous talent awards in dance as well. In 1993, she opened Jennifer’s School of Dance. Throughout her career, she has produced 28 spring recitals and 25 Christmas show productions. Along with teaching dance, Jennifer has choreographed, emceed and performed for numerous pageants and other entertainment productions throughout Southeast Georgia. In 2005, she took a group of her dancers to New York City to the “Rockette Experience” where her dancers took a class in Radio City Music Hall under the instruction of a Rockette. In 2020, she had a Radio City Rockette teach a master class at her studio. Jennifer has also been featured in several movies such as I Know What You Did Last Summer and Something to Talk About. She also played the lead role in Unsolved Mysteries. This past spring, Jennifer celebrated her 28th year of dance. She has always had a passion for dance, entertainment, and sharing it with her small town community. Jennifer is also a certified fitness instructor and enjoys teaching a variety of fitness classes. She enjoys time with her family and friends and traveling. Jennifer resides in her hometown of Glennville with her husband, Derek, her son, Jenson, and her daughter, Camy, who is also an accomplished dancer of 15 years. Jennifer is excited about this new chapter in her dance career.

Blair Rackett
Blair Rackett began her dance training at age 6. She trained under several amazing teachers throughout her childhood years. Her performance achievements include dancing in the Hula Bowl, numerous regional and national awards, Broadway tap scholarship winner, and production soloist. Upon graduating high school, she attended Georgia College and State University where she was a member of the university’s dance team. While obtaining a degree in psychology, Blair began her dance instructing career. She worked as a dance instructor at a local studio and also choreographed for many dance and cheer teams across Georgia during her college years. After graduating, Blair saw a need for a dance studio in the Metter community. Studio South-Metter opened its doors in fall of 2004. Since then, Blair has choreographed numerous original works. She has received regional and national choreography awards and has choreographed national winning routines. She has most recently partnered with Jennifer Bland to open Studio South - Glennville. Blair is involved in community enhancement. She has worked with outreach and dance enrichment programs within the Candler and Evans county schools system, and she has choreographed several pieces for community events. She has been a board member and talent scholarship sponsor for the Miss Georgia Organization. Blair resides in Metter, Georgia with her husband Zach and her daughters Lily and Molly, who both dance at Studio South. Other than dance, her passion is her family. When she is not at the studio, she enjoys going to the lake, spending time with friends and family, and traveling. Blair is excited to continue sharing her love of dance with her students

Katharina Dennis
INSTRUCTOR
Katharina began dancing at the age of six at Jennifer’s School of Dance. She was a member of the Long County High School cheerleading squad her sophomore, junior and senior years. In her senior year of high school she tried out for UCA All-Stars and made the team and was able to travel to London and be in the New Years Spirit Parade. She has attended dance and cheer camps and competed in competitions. She was given the opportunity to travel with her fellow Senior Showstoppers to New York City and train under the world famous Radio City Rockettes. Since then, Katharina has found a love for teaching. She was an instructor for Jennifer's School of Dance for 3 1/2 years, and has remained on staff with Studio South. Katharina resides in Ludowici with her husband, Bradley, and her daughter, Jessica, who is a dancer at Studio South. She enjoys every moment spent with her students in dance class. She is very grateful to be part of Studio South Dance Academy in Glennville and looks forward to many more years of sharing her love of dance with all her students.

Delanie O'Brien
INSTRUCTOR
Delanie O’Brien is a Studio South Dance Academy alumni graduating Metter High School in May of 2021. She has danced with Studio South Dance Academy for 14 years, ten of which were on the SSDA competitive dance team. She competed in several region and national dance competitions and collected many awards along the way. During this time, Delanie found her strength and passion through the art of dance. She has choreographed dances of her own as well as assisted as a dance apprentice for 3 years along side Blair Rackett and Logan McElveen. Delanie attends Georgia Southern University and is pursuing a degree in Exercise Science. She loves being an inspirational motivator and teacher for young dancers by helping them develop the techniques and skills to take them to the next level of dance performance.

Camy Bland
OFFICE MANAGER
Camy Bland is a seasoned dancer with 17 years of dance in tap jazz and ballet and also trained in tumbling. She was a member of the Tattnall County High School cheer squad and was chosen as captain her senior year. Durning her dancing and cheerleading career, she participated and performed in numerous shows, productions and community events. She was a fierce contender on the pageant scene as well. Camy is a 2021 graduate from TCHS also. She is currently a sophomore at Georgia Southern University. Camy loves getting to know the SSDA dance families, and she looks forward to seeing the students each week.

Emma Dasher Hagan
GYMNASTICS COACH
Emma joined the Jennifer’s School of Dance family at just 3 years old where she danced, tumbled, and cheered for almost a decade. Emma was a member of Pinewood Christian Academy’s Junior Varsity and Varsity competition and sideline cheerleading squads. She was voted captain senior year and helped lead the team to winning a GISA State Championship title. Emma trained at Cheer Savannah for 5 years where she was a member of several teams and competed in various local and national competitions including The Summit at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports. Upon graduating high school, Emma began coaching and choreographing for Pinewood’s Junior Varsity and Varsity cheerleading squads. Emma graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and in 2023 with a Master’s of Counselor Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Emma is excited to be joining Studio South Dance Academy to help empower young girls to reach their fullest potential!
